Earth Day Art Contest

The James River SCD was excited to sponsor our annual Earth Day Art Contest again in 2023! We didn't get as many entries as the past 2 years, but appreciate the effort put forth by students who did choose to participate.

Earth Day – April 22 – is a day designed to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth’s environment.

Local residents were invited you to create an art piece that represents what Earth Day means to them! It could be a sculpture, poster, collage, etc. Creativity was highly encouraged!
